BURNING RROMA CAMPS IN ITALY

A Rroma camp in Italy on the outskirts of Turin has been set on fire by a group of protesters on Sunday evening. The torchlight procession started in the late afternoon was organized in solidarity with a sixteen year old, who had reported a rape by two foreign nationals. During the same event the girl recanted, saying that there was a sexual relationship, but consensus, and not with aliens. But the lie was enough to make going down the street several hundred local residents who set fire to the camp of Rroma Continassa Cascina, near the new stadium of Juventus. Reports on the field, where the barracks the next morning, still burn. Some Rroma claim that the protesters were armed only with clubs and torches, but also guns. Un campo nomadi alla periferia di Torino è stato dato alle fiamme da un gruppo di manifestanti nella serata di domenica. La fiaccolata partita nel tardo pomeriggio era stata organizzata in solidarietà con una sedicenne, che aveva denunciato uno stupro ad opera di due cittadini stranieri. Nel corso della stessa manifestazione la giovane ha ritrattato, dicendo che c'era stato un rapporto sessuale, ma consensuale, e comunque non con cittadini stranieri. Ma la bugia è stata sufficiente a far scender per strada diverse centinaia di residenti di zona che hanno dato fuoco al campo rom della Cascina Continassa, a pochi passi dal nuovo stadio della Juventus. Reportage dentro il campo, dove le baracche, il mattino dopo, bruciano ancora. Alcuni zingari dichiarano che i manifestanti erano armati non solo di mazze e di fiaccole, ma anche di pistole.
