About 100 people demonstrated at Kensington Gardens in London to mark the annual Nation Day, April 8, for the Roma community across Europe and the Globe. It was a "joined-up" day of action by gypsies and travellers,protesting against racism, discrimination, deportations and evictions. The London supporters handed in protest letters to embassies including the Czech Republic and Bulgaria accusing them of violating the human rights of the Romani people.
