the Roma community about information technology in the area of hardware and
software, we will also have interviews and presentations of Roma digital
creators who work on various topics: programming, design, video editing, 3D
animation, etc.

We are starting to develop in a good direction, we have
engineers, programmers, designers, video editors who are real professionals in
their work. Today, believe it or not, we have the first Roma woman with a
degree in IT engineering - Department of Computer Systems and networks.

We have
young people studying and studying who will be engineers, programmers,
designers, etc. in the future. I think we are stuck somewhere back in 1971,
when the Roma flag and the Roma anthem were brought, from then to today nothing
has been changed or even digitized. In general, we are passive people and we
wait for someone else to do the work for us.

You can find more information in
any other language than in ours. It is the idea that the Romani IT Community
serves as a Roma Community that will contribute to the development and
digitization of the Roma identity, language, culture, business, etc.

The article is taken from RomaniIT web Portla ,below is the link :

Link:https://romaniit.com/

Aby further information please contact Bajram Ramadan

Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433317021003415635.post-2973355364460778672024-01-18T19:43:00.001-03:002024-01-18T19:43:03.473-03:00Burhan Zekir-Cmputer Science from Macedonia -In Romani Language
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman",serif; font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 107%; mso-fareast-language: PT-BR;">Mli licno cel te motivirina so povise o Roma

The Roma community was dislodged from the Topaana neighbourhood where they traditionally lived. A plan to assimilate local populations by allocating homes in newly-built blocks of flats was proposed by the local authorities until a backlash from ethnic Albanians and Slavic Macedonians prompted a rethink.

Instead, the Roma were directed to a barren zone on the outskirts of the city and Šuto Orizari was born.

In 1996 the neighbourhood was officially recognised as one of the 10 municipalities that form the city of Skopje, thus becoming the first municipality in Europe where the Romani is the official language, together with Macedonian. A 2002 census identified 80% of the population as Roma.

Arriving in Šuto Orizari, travellers are greeted by blue-green flags marked by an irradiating Indian chakra, a symbol of the people’s migration from the sub-continent. Streets also testify to the epic journey undertaken by the Roma people around a thousand years ago when they spread across Europe — a voyage depicted in the French lyric movie Latcho Drom (“Have a safe journey”); Indira Gandhi Street, named after the first Indian president that acknowledged a shared heritage between Roma people and Indians; and Gvadalahara Street, dedicated to the Spanish city of Guadalajara. There's also Garsija Lorka Street, which pays homage to the Spanish author who chronicled Roma people's ordinary lives in many of his works, such as Romancero Gitano (1928).

The article is taken from "EuroNews", below is the link:

Link:https://www.euronews.com/2018/07/05/only-district-in-europe-roma-are-majority

Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433317021003415635.post-6114914963695534052023-06-12T20:14:00.003-03:002023-06-12T20:14:17.185-03:00Fighting poverty across the EU - one of the bloc’s top priorities
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman", serif; font-size: 12pt; text-align: justify;">How does the European Union use cohesion funds to
reduce poverty and inequality across the bloc? Our first stops are in two of
the EU’s poorest countries, Bulgaria and Romania, to look at the role that EU
aid plays in the areas of education and public transport. We also visit one of
Europe’s richest countries - France - to see how the European Union can help to
level up parts of the EU that display some surprising inequalities.

prejudices according to preliminary data in a new survey.

“Fighting together in the trenches has become a
unifying factor in the war-torn country,” Zeljko Jovanovic, director of the
Roma Initiatives Office, told The Brussels Times. He expressed cautious
optimism that the common suffering and struggle for Ukraine’s independence will
bring about a change for the marginalized Roma minority after the war.

occupiers near Kakhovka in the Kherson region. One in four of the
respondents in the survey reported that their family members were currently
serving in the armed forces, the territorial defence or in volunteer

brought an EU Member State to the European Court of Justice for violating the

discrimination in many areas, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights
Dunja Mijatović said after her visit to the country on Monday.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Times New Roman",serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">According to the commissioner, there were some
positive developments but problems remain in education, housing, employment and
interaction with the police. For example, the country should ensure that
children of all backgrounds, including Roma children or children with
disabilities, can learn together and should not be separated.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Times New Roman",serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">“The Czech Republic should spare no effort to address
the long-standing problem of the exclusion of Roma people and people with
disabilities, and to ensure that they can live in equality and dignity,”
Mijatović said on Monday.

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: "Times New Roman",serif; font-size: 12pt; line-height: 107%; mso-ansi-language: EN-US;">Moreover, the Commissioner warn against the different
treatment of Roma refugees coming to the Czech Republic from Ukraine. While
Ukrainian people fleeing from the country found housing or employment quite
easily, Roma Ukrainians faced severe obstacles. According to the Council of
Europe statement, the treatment of Roma Ukrainians “highlighted the deep-rooted
prejudices against Roma that still exist in Czech society.”

Out of an estimated total of 10-12 million in Europe, some 6 million live in
the EU, and most of them are citizens of an EU country. The estimated
share of the Roma in EU countries in 2012 ranged from 10.3% in Bulgaria, 9.1%
in Slovakia, 8.3% in Romania, 7% in Hungary, 2.5% in Greece, 2% in Czechia, and
1.6% in Spain, to less than 1% in most of the other countries. Excessive force,
police brutality, and misconduct against Romani people continue to be reported
across the EU, in line with the 2020 findings of the European Union
Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA).

We will explore the contrast between state and stateless cosmovisions and the core culture of majority and minority populations. After Vicente’s presentation, participants can join him in the discussion. In the presentation, we aim to answer several questions, including: How did the Holocaust perpetrators see themselves and what was their idea of society and morality? And why are Roma still a stateless culture and resist assimilation into societal megastructures?

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Vicente Rodriguez comes from the Kalé community, lives in Germany and has been an internationally active Roma activist since his youth.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">The event will be held in English.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">When: 19 December 2022 at 17h – 18:30h

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Where: the event will take place digitally; registration at: <span style="color: #0044ff; font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">info@ran.eu.com
Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433317021003415635.post-19097941794332512472022-12-11T08:09:00.001-03:002022-12-11T08:09:47.417-03:0016-year-old Roma shot by police in Thessaloniki - 5th December 2022Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433317021003415635.post-21242511638708121542022-11-25T22:23:00.005-03:002022-11-25T22:23:38.779-03:00AVAJA- Avdive doniringa o ambolantno tomofili ko vasta tar i poliklinika Cair..

Sar so sine havlardo avdisaske 25.11.2022 bers,i inicijativa AVAJA doniringa o ambolantno tomofili bash i poliklinika Cair sa mangipnaja ola te vastalinen oleja, numa te ovel ko ikhloviphe hem e dizutnenge tar i komuna Suto Orizari.Sar so vakerna o phanlo lafi bash o hospitalesko kombi ka ovel ko servis na salde e dizutnenge taro Suto Orizari, numa hem ka rotirinel ko komune Butel thaj Cair, Phanle e anibaja sar donacija o kombi hospitalesko thaj bas dejbe avgo saslaribnaskoro dumo e doniribnaske phanlo lafi sine kerdo vakti tar o 2021 bers.

Link:https://romapress.mk/featured/avaja-avdive-doniringa-o-ambolantno-tomofili-ko-vasta-tar-i-poliklinika-cair/?fbclid=IwAR2Zw1ZOSvt5trsa5sXslv35w_p60Hkb-VsoIK4Ypjcjb9LHT9QDw6CN9Og
Unknownnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6433317021003415635.post-9365346309250126122022-11-05T09:51:00.002-03:002022-11-05T09:51:42.083-03:00Romaversitas | 5 November - International Romani language dayUnknownnoreply@blogger.com
